Our Future For Success Corp. operates the Our Future For Success™ application (the "App"), a fundraising platform that raises community support for individuals experiencing homelessness. Profiles on the App are created by Our Future For Success Corp. staff, using information compiled and provided by trusted intake partners — such as shelters, outreach programs, and social service agencies — who work directly with the individuals they serve. Individuals experiencing homelessness do not self-register or directly manage their profiles on the App. The following disclaimer outlines important limitations and notices for all supporters, donors, intake partners, and visitors using the App. By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge and agree to this disclaimer.
Our Future For Success Corp. does not guarantee that gifts will result in any specific outcomes for the individuals featured on the platform, such as achieving fundraising goals, obtaining housing, or improving personal circumstances. All gifts are voluntary and at the discretion of Donors. Intake partners are responsible for the accuracy of the information they compile and provide to Our Future For Success Corp. Our Future For Success Corp. is not liable for inaccuracies in information provided by intake partners, but will act promptly to correct or remove content upon notification.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Our Future For Success Corp., its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of the App, including but not limited to loss of funds, inaccurate information, or misuse of gifts. This includes any liability related to the handling of gifts through our designated payment gateway.
All monetary gifts made through the platform are securely processed by Square, our third-party payment processor. Our Future For Success Corp. receives the full gift amount from Square after payment processing fees, deducts its platform service fees, and transfers the remaining net proceeds to authorized outreach programs, shelters, or support organizations for distribution to intended recipients. Our Future For Success Corp. does not store or handle donors' payment card information directly. Our Future For Success Corp. is not responsible for any errors, delays, or issues arising from Square or other third-party services. Users should review Square's terms and privacy policy separately.
User authentication is provided through Google OAuth. Our Future For Success Corp. does not store your Google credentials; authentication is handled securely through Google's services. Please review Google's privacy and security policies for additional information.
Our Future For Success Corp. complies with the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act (PCMLTFA), as administered by FINTRAC. However, users are responsible for ensuring their own compliance with applicable laws, including tax reporting for gifts.
Our Future For Success Corp. does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or truthfulness of any profiles, stories, or fund usage plans. While we rely on intake partners to compile and provide accurate information with proper consent, donors should exercise due diligence before contributing. We will act promptly to correct or remove content upon notification of inaccuracies.
The App does not provide financial, legal, or medical advice. Health insurance opt-ins are informational only and do not constitute guarantees of coverage.
Our Future For Success Corp. may update this disclaimer at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. By using the App, you agree that Our Future For Success Corp. provides the platform "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
